What are your reasons for opposing same-sex marriage?

Please read the following carefully. I don't want people who support same-sex marriage to answer. People that do answer, if you could please be respectful, that would be appreciated. I'm ok with civil unions which include all partnership benefits under the law, but marriage is an institution between a man and a woman

What's next down the slippery slope of morality, will libs want to legitimize NAMBLA or marry their cats?
